At the Greenspring Retirement Community, they take their fund raising seriously. So seriously, they are even willing to take their clothes off and be photographed in an effort to raise some money.

A sexy group of female seniors, also known as the “Ladies of Greenspring”, have decided to create a semi-nude calendar featuring 12 seniors who live at the Greenspring Retirement Center.

They got the idea after watching Calendar Girls, a movie about 11 British women who make a semi-nude calendar in efforts to raise money for a local hospital, and making their own version of a semi-nude sexy calendar.

The calendars are being sold to support the Greenspring’s Benevolent Care Fund, which was set up to help residents who have lived beyond their financial planning and insures they can remain at Greenspring even after their finances run out.

The Ladies of Greenspring are planning an event to kick off the calendars release, where they will be autographing special copies of the calendars.

The girls hope to sell 1,000 copies of the calendar at $15.00 each, which will insure more needy residents will have the care they deserve.

There is rumor the ladies have been pressuring the Men of Greenspring to make a calendar for 2009, but we will have to wait and see about that.
