Merry Christmas

Today and tomorrow are very special days for many of us. I’m really looking forward to my family’s traditional Christmas Eve dinner where we’ll eat cracked crab, clam chowder and delicious sourdough bread. It’s a night where we settle in, enjoy the Christmas tree, and maybe open just one present. Young ones are excited wondering how Santa is going to get through that chimney but I find this night brings comfort. While sipping my eggnog, I’ll be thinking of my mom, not focusing on sadness, but on how grateful and fortunate I am for the many blessed gifts, including her love of the holidays, that she passed on to me.

For those of you who may be in the midst of caring for another and for those who may be missing a loved one, I hope you’ll also find peace and comfort. On behalf of everyone at AGIS, I wish you and your families the very best during this holiday and a new year filled with peace, happiness, and hope. Please remember we are here for you to help you make the best decisions, to get the best care for your loved one, to help you care for yourself, and to give you easy access to the best resources to help you with all your caregiving needs. Happy Holidays from AGIS!
