This Christmas I’m a Caregiver (Poem)
This Christmas I’m a Caregiver
by Tabitha Grace Smith
This Christmas: less decorations,
Less gifts,
Less noise,
Less.
This Christmas: few visitors,
Few moments alone,
Few hours of sleep,
Few.
This Christmas: she needs me,
Needs care,
Needs love,
Needs.
This Christmas: more understanding,
Understanding love,
Understanding meaning,
Understanding.
This Christmas I’m a caregiver,
Caring with my hands,
Caring with my heart,
Caring.
Merry Christmas - here’s to many more.
